What each tier adds, from Carrd's plan page

Carrd's Pro page, accessed 13 October 2026, lists yearly prices: Pro Lite $9 (3 sites), Pro Standard $19 (10 sites) and Pro Plus $49 (25 sites), with larger site-count versions of each. Pro Standard adds custom domains, forms, widgets, embeds, analytics, meta tags and local fonts over Lite. Pro Plus adds advanced forms, advanced settings, site downloads, redirects, password protection, variables, site files, framing, update frequency and canonical URLs. [1]

The five reasons to pay for Pro Plus

  • Take payment inside a form: Carrd's payment-enabled forms insert a Stripe Checkout screen and require Pro Plus. You need your own Stripe account and keys. If a PayPal or Gumroad button is enough, Pro Standard's widgets cover that. [2][3]
  • Private page for clients or a team: password protection requires Pro Plus. The default username is "guest" and you can set your own. [4]
  • Replacing an old site with existing URLs: redirects require Pro Plus and are handled as 301 redirects using a /request=destination format. [5]
  • Sending form data to an automation: custom forms that integrate with Zapier, Make, n8n and Airtable, or post to URLs, are listed under Pro Plus Advanced Forms. [2]
  • An exit copy: downloading a site requires Pro Plus and gives unminified HTML, CSS and JS. Forms and other platform-dependent elements are not functional in the download, and it cannot be uploaded back to Carrd. [6]

Worked example: a coach's booking page

Hypothetical: a coach wants a one-page site on their own domain with a booking link, a signup form for a newsletter, and a paid 30-minute session. Pro Standard covers the domain, the newsletter signup form and an embedded payment or booking widget at $19 a year.

If the coach wants the payment collected through a Carrd form with Stripe Checkout, or a password-protected page of client resources, that is Pro Plus at $49 a year. The question to ask: is a native payment form better for your visitors than a payment link or widget? If not, keep the $30.

Site count changes the math

Pro Plus includes 25 site slots against 10 on Pro Standard. If you already need Pro Standard 25 ($39 a year), Pro Plus at $49 is only $10 more for the same slot count and every Plus feature. Count drafts and archived sites as Carrd counts slots before comparing; see our multiple-sites guide. [1]

Downgrading later is not automatic

Carrd's troubleshooting page says that if any site uses features from your current plan that are not on the new plan, you must first update those sites to remove those features. Before moving back from Plus to Standard, list every site that uses password protection, redirects or payment forms. Carrd also documents that auto-renewal is optional and you can pay as you go. [7][8]

Carrd's Pro page offers a 7-day free trial of Pro features without a card. Use it to build the exact Plus feature you need and check it on a phone before paying. We have not used Pro Plus; this guide reads Carrd's published pages. [1]
